The Ignatian Solidarity Network (ISN) offers ecological Lenten journeys to deepen commitment in caring for creation through the Lenten Ecological Series.
For the Lenten Food Waste Fast, weekly updates are provided with pointers for living a food-waste-free life as well as opportunities to pray and advocate on the issue of food waste. A weekly email throughout Lent is sent to guide the process.
In the No Buy Lent journey, space for the sacred and giving the planet a rest are key motivations in praying, fasting, and practicing almsgiving during the holy season. Upon registration, there are short daily inspirations shared in the Lenten calendar.
For Laudato Si’ Lent, the seven goals of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP) are explored. LSAP is the Vatican framework inviting the global church to journey towards total sustainability. Even if already engaged with the LSAP or learning about it for the first time, this Lenten experience is an encouragement to bring the Laudato Si’ Action Platform to life in the community.
